Charleston, South Carolina born and raised, Jamaal Lemon is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server—gripped by the craft beer industry from completing an internship in The Czech Republic, Belgium & Germany. Upon completing the internship, he put his degree in English and love of culture to good use as a writer and journalist for the industry.
Michael Stein is president of Lost Lagers, Washington, D.C.’s premier beverage research firm and is a member of the Chicago Brewseum's League of Historians. An award-winning writer, his historic beers have been served at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and the Polish Ambassador’s residence. Co-owner and senior staff writer at DC Beer Media, his research with Jamaal Lemon has most recently won a James Beard Media Award for the Foodways category.
